Linwood Spiritual Center | Retreat Programs: SPIRITUALITY and HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

On each professional day, the presenter will provide insight from his/her practice of spiritual direction and invite directors to reflect on their own practice and experience of prayer in light of their work as directors. There will be presentations, time for personal reflection and small group process. These days are designed for beginning and experienced spiritual directors.

THE SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR AND THE ART OF CONVERSION
Conversion into the likeness of the Son of God is the goal of the Christian enterprise. Spiritual directors, by virtue of their ministry, assist others as they journey deeper into the Mystery of God and human fullness. This day is especially designed for experienced spiritual directors to reflect on and work with their own psychological and spiritual conversions.

LISTENING TO THE MUSIC OF CREATION: LEARNING THE DANCE OF THE UNIVERSE
Through prose, poetry and scripture, as well as through the wonders of creation, we will be encouraged to experience a sense of unity with all of life and thus be challenged to take greater responsibility to care for the earth and all that inhabits our planet. In being drawn to the Divine, we are drawn to the One who is the source of all that is and thus we are brought into greater enjoyment and appreciation of life and goodness. Please bring a bible, journal and writings that speak to you of global spirituality.
