Aunt Jane of Kentucky, 1898, Eliza C. Hall Beginning, experienced, machine and hand-quilters are all welcome to a weekend of quilting, spiritual reflection and renewal – a time away from our busy lives where we can join a sewing circle and have time for personal reflection and prayer. The weekend will be pieced together with sessions of foundation piecing, hand-quilting, appliqué, and spiritual reflection. Experienced quilters are welcome to bring along a project in progress! |

| Description: | More and more directees are in 12 Step Programs and also in spiritual direction. This day workshop will illustrate the key issues of the spiritual direction relationship and the interface with the recovery process, i.e. surrender to God, process of forgiveness, spiritual practices, conversion and sin, etc. The workshop will also help clarify the distinctions between spiritual direction and sponsorship, therapy, recovery meetings, etc. Since spiritual directors also deal with directees who are active in their addiction, the issues which may arise for supervision will also be addressed. The day will include presentations, quiet reflection time, and time for small group process. Lunch is included. |
